MTC- Provo

The twins birthday was the day after McKennah reported to the MTC.
She wanted to let them know she didn't forget them.  <

Hey there family!  How is everything going?  Have you received my first letter?  It has been a crazy week here at the MTC.  So much has already happened.  I just wanted to say Happy Birthday, Twins! I thought about you ALL DAY LONG.  Usually I am so busy, I don't really have time to think about home which is nice.  I miss you guys like crazy.  I have been waiting all week to tell you what is going on!  I miss you all so much!  The Lord has truly blessed me.  I can feel all your prayers.  I know you have been thinking of me and it means the world to me!  It is a good thing I wrote it all in my journal!  Last Wednesdaaya I was dropped off here at the MTC.  I cannot even begin to describe the spirit I feel here!  It is incredible!  My companion is Sister Bartsch and she is a doll.  We talked briefly on FB, and here we are as companions!  It has been so fun!  I have many pictures....however we haven't figured out how to send them yet.  I will probably send you some next P-day.  I figured now would be a good time to tell you about my travel itinerary.  My district and I will be leaving at 3:30 in the morning.  Our flight leaves next Tuesday at 7:30.  I will probably arrive at about 11:30ish in Mississippi.  There are 10 people in my district.  We have 4 Sisters, and 6 Elders.  The 2 other sister missionaries in our district are going to Arizona.  My whole district is half Arizone and half Mississippi.  In our zone there are 20 people.  The sisters in that zone are going to Oregon and the Elders are going there as well!  I LOVE my zone so it is going to be super sad when we leave next Tuesday into the mission field.  When we first arrived, the people who were helping us out put orange stickers on our missionary tags.  Every single person who saw our tag welcomed us to the MTC.  My district got super sick of it...so we took them off super early.  My companion and I have already taught 3 discussions to our investigators.  One of the investigators was super hard.  In fact it was our first "real" investigator.  My companion and I walked out of that lesson and just bawled.  We failed SO BAD.  We were frustrated because teaching with the spirit was a lot harder than what we thought.    The classes here are 15-16 hours long.  On Sunday we had the opportunity to go on a Temple walk.  My zone and I were super excited because we were stuck in classrooms ALL DAY LONG.  That was the first time we were able to leave the MTC.  Today we were able to attend the temple.. it was amazing.  We did a session, and then as we were in the Celestial Room I prayed for all of you.  That is another thing that is different....I have never prayed SO MUCH in my ENTIRE LIFE.  We really do pray only 100 times a day..And every single one of those prayers are sincere.  We pray for our families, we pray for our successful lessons, we pray for safety, and above all we pray for our investigators.   I don't know about the other missionaries here but, I pray and think about my investigators every second of the day.  I hope they will come to know their Savior Jesus Christ.  I hope they know that there IS life after death and families can be together forever.  There is nothing more in this life that I want then for them to have these blessings.  Thank you for the support.  I pray that we will all use our agency for the better.  I challenge you all to serve someone today.  Whether it is a secret or they know it.  I know it will bless your life.  I love you all.  Thanks again!  Please email me and let me know what is going on in your lives.  I will be emailing around this time every Monday, so please watch for me.  Love you all!    Sister Scott
